Responsibilities

  • You write C++17 code using the highest quality standards.

  • You’ll work with our product team to build products that meet clients’ requirements.

  • Part of the delivery of a product that you work on includes testing, and must be as simple as possible to deploy.

  • You’ll work with our support team to answer any questions they may have about the product. If they report a defect, it is your responsibility to get it fixed.

Skills

Essential

  • You have strong software development skills including a working understanding of Make/​Bash/​Python.

  • You value clearly understandable code, both for maintenance reasons and for your co-workers to understand.

  • You have experience creating APIs, used XML before, and understand the inner workings of HTTP.

  • You are a constructive, collaborative, positive and helpful member of a high performing team.

  • You are not afraid to throw your first design away.

  • You are hands-on and proactive.

  • You strive for continuous improvement.

Desirable

  • You have working knowledge of Audio/​Video formats (ISO standards, SCTE standards, MP4)

  • Knowledge of video streaming standard HLS, MPEG-DASH.

  • Knowledge of DRM (Digital Rights Management).

  • You enjoy a technical challenge.
