AMSTERDAM, September 26, 2024 — Unified Streaming has hired Valentijn Siebrands, a streaming industry veteran, as its new streaming solutions manager.
From nearby Arnhem, Siebrands brings a rich background centered on streaming architecture to the Unified team. Before joining the company early September 2024, Siebrands designed and structured solutions for M2A Media, the London-based media tech company specializing in delivering live video workflows via the public cloud.
Earlier in his career Siebrands was lead architect for streaming media at RTL Nederland, a broadcast giant in The Netherlands. At Norwegian company Vimond Media Solutions, Siebrands created workflows for live streaming and VOD (video on demand). And in 2018 at Unified Streaming the company’s new streaming solutions manager did a stint as a streaming engineer.
Asked whether he’s excited about returning to the Amsterdam-headquartered streaming software company, Siebrands said, “Yes, because I believe in its vision. To lead the industry with groundbreaking tech and set new standards for the future of media delivery.”
Over the years, Siebrands added, Unified Streaming’s products have evolved significantly, offering cutting-edge technology that empowers media organizations of all sizes to enhance their operations.
“Our solutions such as Unified Virtual Channel and forensic watermarking provide robust capabilities that were once considered out of reach,” said Siebrands. “Today, we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of streaming media.”
As streaming solutions manager, his main goal is to “help customers become more efficient and successful with the stable and flexible solutions” that Unified Streaming offers.
Adding an experienced streaming architect with deep roots in the industry signals that Unified Streaming is not only prioritizing bolstering ties with its current customers, but also prioritizing gaining new customers.
Founded in 2012, Unified Streaming counts over 140 companies worldwide as clients and tech partners.
“I’m eager to build new relationships and strengthen connections,” said Siebrands.
“We’re excited Valentijn has joined the team here at Unified Streaming, as his many years of experience come with ingenuity, drive, and the focus to accomplish his goals,” said Unified Streaming CEO and cofounder Dirk Griffioen.
