Molotov re-ups with Ad Insertion Platform
Molotov, the leading French OTT provider with over 17m users (and customer of Unified Streaming), announced on 8 February 2022 that they have renewed their contract with Ad Insertion Platform (AIP), leading provider of Server-Side-Ad-Insertion (SSAI) technology.
The renewal enables Molotov to integrate AIP’s SSAI tech into their AVOD service Mango. Ad Insertion Platform is also a tech partner of Unified Streaming.
Debuted in November 2020, Mango is the first free video-on-demand service in France, and can deliver over 2,000 hours of programming. AIP inserts addressable, dynamic ads for the service, helping Molotov — a subsidiary of fuboTV, the world’s premier sports-first live TV streaming platform — monetize its free-to-air AVOD content.
Unified Streaming’s own relationship with Molotov dates back to 2015, when the French streaming service adopted Unified’s Origin.
In December 2020, Unified Streaming’s relationship with Molotov deepened. Molotov adopted Unified Streaming’s innovative Remix technology — a dynamic playlist-based system that allows on-the-fly and targeted editing of video streams — across Molotov’s Mango.
